well,i am going to begin with an apology for not updating my blog for the longest time.things here are kinda boring,well not boring per se,but just normal.

haven't been posting cos I'm pretty busy,lotsa biochem stuff which i don't completely understand to struggle with everyday,assignment( which forces me to go on a diet) and group project.

to add icing to the half crumbling cake,I'm now battling with homesickness on a daily basis.To think that i would have gotten over it after living away from home for almost 3 years.I know as i physically mature,I'll still be that little 5 year old that constantly needs to be showered by copious amounts of love by her family.

Will be counting the days,hours,minutes and seconds till we meet again my dearest family.

I I have nothing against gummy lollies.Gelatin and sugar drives me to a nutty sugar high.But making gummies in shape of babies is just plain wrong!!What have the world come to??Teaching our kids cannibalism?Imagine a baby putting a baby into it's mouth and gnawing it to death-GROSS!Chewing up teddy bears and snakes are gross too.just not as gross as chewing up replicas of human babies.They should make more of those fruit shaped ones=)

Well med school isn't as supercalifragilistickaspealedociously exciting as I initially thought it would be.So much for preconceived ideas.

Lectures are as all usual lectures would be-BORING!

But the med students at UNSW can be considered lucky as we get to go for clinicals at the teaching hospitals as early as the first week.It felt kinda weird walking round the hospital with a stethoscope hanging round my neck.I mean ,come on,I don't even know how to use the damn thing.And there i am draping it around my neck looking all doctor-ish and professional.*sheesh*

Saw a man with a boil on his butt.The guy was proundly displaying his posterior to us freshies.Like the doctor didn't even ask him to.Flasher.*lol*

Got a shit load of assignments to do and it's only the first week.2 projects which are respectively 2500 and 3000 words each and an oral presentation.Oh well,I'll survive.

Anatomy class today was WOOOZAH~! man.We go to touch the cadavers and learnt how to identify their location.I saw a testicle that was cut into a cross section*cues guys to go ouch*Didnt see whole bodies tho,just got to see random parts of it on the table,like one arm,a leg,two or three torso's and a couple of lungs.One day i'll prolly post a few disturbing images for your benifit if i do get to capture a few.

Other than school social activities organized by med school to date are almost all related to alcohol one way or the other.but tis ok,cos did you know that your liver regenerates,so you sorta get a new liver every 1-2 years or so.lol.

Anyways,I'll update more when i actually dont have to do research,write reflective essays or do the laundry=)

haven't been updating for ages.sorry to everyone that bothered to drop by my blog just to be dissappointed by the image of my last post.

Anyway the past couple of months have been the most difficult and depressing months of my relatively short life. I’ve been served with rejection after rejection. It’s really disheartening to be the only one left out and it’s really depressing to feel unwanted.

I feel stupid, small and useless.

Sometimes I feel like giving up.

Sometimes I feel all of this is not worth fighting for anymore.

I’m quite sick and tired of having to fight this never ending battle with the odds placed against me.

I may think I’m unlucky, most people probably think I am anyway, but when I think about it, I’m probably one lucky girl and don’t realize it when I let myself get consumed by my own self pity and sorrows. I fail to see the many people that love and care for me. If not for this series of unfortunate news, I may not have been able to realize that there are many people out there that love and care for me. when I fell, time and time again, these people helped me out tirelessly, helping me to get me on my feet again and making sure that I’m alright. Thank you to all that stood by me and lent me your shoulder to cry on as I bawl my eyeballs out.i’m eternally grateful.

The Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the students who achieved high scores in the recent examination. We would also like to encourage and welcome students who are interested in pursuing Medicine as a career. However, the comments made by the Honourable Minister of Health are very relevant and need to be seriously taken into consideration by these potential students.

Students often presume that being a doctor is a glamorous profession, lucrative safe in times of economic turmoil. The truth can be very different to this. Basic undergraduate medical education normally extends for a period of five to six years and postgraduate education takes another five years. The need to keep up with increasing medical knowledge and the latest medical technologies, the current development in the field of Medicine has made it mandatory now for doctors to attend meetings, courses and training continuously throughout their career to keep up-dated of current progresses. This on-going educational process is officially known as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or previously known as Continuing Medical Education (CME).

A career in Medicine involves the care of the ill, infirm and injured. The practice of Medicine is a lifetime commitment to the study and delivery of health care. It involves dedication, sacrifice of personal and family time, constant pressure and answerable to various levels of administration in the hospital setting. A doctor's job though challenging and often satisfying is also physically and mentally taxing.

Therefore, the MMA wishes to highlight to students to look at their career options not from the monetary and glamour aspects but instead to view it more realistically and rationally.

to the very few readers of my very rarely updated blog, i'm sorry for the lag of updates.been quite busy lately(read:excuse for being plain lazy)

i seem to be doing pretty random stuff in the past two days..lol i LIKE doing random stuff=) makes life all the more exciting!! nice to once in a while break away from the rigidity of college life=)

yesterday in the middle of coll,chunglern and i suddenly had a craving for mcd's,and we just like went to pyramid(even though lern had class in abt an hour's time or so) to try out their new burger..delish=) wat made that outing even worst is, i,who have been deprived of shopping for so long,went SHOPPING!! bwahahaha!!a real despo huh??trying to stuff shopping in the itenary even when i knew that there was a time constraint=) oh well, it was worth it=) i got a kinda cute candy coloured polo tee=)

did more random stuff out of complete boredness today=)
met luxian on my way back to the condo after Econs(which i practically napped thru half the class).he was bored as he had to wait for the rest of his gang to finish english,to go play futsal.So we ,decided to go "explore" the college/uni=)
some how,after checking out a combustion pipe(dun ask me why we were looking at it,cos i dunno either,too bored i guess) we ended up at the monorail station(FYI,the monorail does not work anymore) saw a bunch of girls trying to light a fire there,for what i dunno(drugs??lol or just to kill time and boredom??) neways,Lux and i,bless our curious minds,wondered whether or not we will end up in sunway pyramid if we walked along the monorail track.And so we walked.To our suprise,we ended up in sunway lagoon after a short five mins walk. i didn't know that our college was THAT near sunway lagoon=) neways, the security people from sunway lagoon spotted us and yelled at us,demanding us to turn back=)(lux you were damn funny when you tried to negotiate with that guy to let you continue the journey,lol,wat were you thinking????)

unwanted incidences happens all the while while one is not thinking and talking.unfortunately i,as you know do not possess a think-twice department,talk before i think all the time=)

today at physics one such unfortunate incidences happened.the physics teacher,Mr.P,gave us a question,to answer obviously.it was about an ant that is standing on the corner of a perfect cube and what will be the minimum distance that the ant should travel to reach a certain point.

so to illustrate his point,Mr.P asked us to imagine that the box is unfolded.and i,the bloody big no brain moron,had to say in my most bimbotic voice(according to my friends)

Me: but Mr.P,if you open the box the ant will fall off!

i am an official talk-without-thinking-twice-IDIOT!!.period.i think i'm born without one of the most crucial part of my brain-the think twice department.

it all happened during english class.ok...so i don't particularly like the teacher-which happens to be the lady that suggested the "journal" writing which i have yet to do.but still it's no excuse for what i have just done in english class approximately 3 hours ago.i feel like hurling myself down a 20-storey building.
this is gonna make my already bad track record with this teacher WORST!!!

ok i guess you guys wanna know what happened.

it was superextremelyfreakingboring english class as usual.my teacher,which i will call miss S from this point forth, was showing us a few transparencies of sample journal entries to the class.she was standing in front of the OHP,blocking my view from the projected image.so i asked her to take a step to the side so i'll be able to view her this-is-so-issue-based journal entries.

me:ms.S can you please move to the side a little as to not block my view*putting on the most polite voice that i possibly can when speaking to her*

ms.S: no.i'll be standing here.you can move to the side so you can be closer to him.

me(thinking):WTF! you suggesting that i'm having an affair with him in front of the whole bloody class???

and without thinking twice,i looked at her in the face and went "THANKSSS!"

Hahaha. .i’m like the laziest ass on planet earth! Totally like left the site to vegetate and grow mouldy and all. really wondering whether anyone would actually bother reading shit I post up here anyway

Ok updates since I last updated.
.(arrgh I’m seriously lazy to post so pardon the short sentence and incoherent thoughts)

Well holidays are officially OVER. Back in college. Things here are pretty boring my general life cycle is:

1) dig my lazy butt out of bed
2) wash up
3) shovel some breakfast down my throat
4) wait ittakessuchafreakinglongtimeelevator to get to my floor
5) plod to college
6) stair marathon up 4 flights of stairs
7) arrive in class NOT late
8) find myself stoning unconsciously in class
9) back to hostel
10) swim
11) sleep

Repeat the cycle 5 times from Monday to Friday=)

Weekends usually last only about half a day=)

Oh my time table is the most screwed up time table I’ve ever had.

Classes starts at 0830 everyday and ends at 1630.but I had two to four hour breaks in between everyday!!

Oh and we’re finally assimilated into the mainstream.they’re not bad I suppose=) not all younger(hallelujah)heck some are even older than me=) thanks to singapore’s NS=)

Oh and my blog’s not going to be a i-am-so-bored-I-have-nothing-better-to-do-than-bore-you-with-crap-tht-i-do-everyday-blog anymore.thanks to my ESL teacher.

According to her,as a bid to improve my disgustingly colloquial English,I should try to keep a journal of my oh-so-boring-life.in actual English.-NOT manglish.

And since we’re supposed to write about issues that we feel strongly about in everyday life my blog is going to be even MORE boring than my previous i-am-so-bored-I-have-nothing-better-to-do-than-bore-you-with-crap-tht-i-do-everyday-blog.
Her example of an issue we feel strongly is:

“For example when you happen to pass a garbage strewn path. How do you feel? Do you not think that the disgusting litter-bug habit of fellow Malaysians should be eradicated? I want you to write about an issue such as this. Give your opinion on how we can overcome this inclination that most Malaysians have.”

Wtf??!!

I’ll probably wouldn’t wanna blog anymore.

This camera features a 2.5-inch type LCD monitor on the rear!!super huge LCD!!!haha..actually wanted to buy the digital zoom i..but dunno what got into me and i got this..the other one was definately more girly and the specs were almost the same...hope i won't regret my decision..i think it's the freaking big LCD screen that seduced me..lol..
